Kitco Fiber Optics was recently honoured by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime (formerly Defense Supply Center Columbus) as “one of the government’s best suppliers” at an award ceremony held during the 2010 DLA Enterprise Supplier Conference and Exhibition, in Columbus, Ohio.

Kitco supplies fiber optic tools and kits to the United States
government. To be eligible, vendors must have shipped 50 or more
contract line items for DLA Land and Maritime during a 12-month period.

The honour recognizes Kitco for its contract performance during 2009.
Firms that qualify as Automated Best Value System (ABVS) award winners
have met the quality and delivery requirements established by the
Defense Logistics Agency.
