April 25, 2014 – LEER and Bolt say they have created “an ideal fit” by integrating LEER’s Deluxe Commercial truck caps (DCC) with the latter’s one-key lock technology.

The truck caps, which are custom built based on each customer’s specific requirements, boast a wide range of options that include different door styles, tool boxes, shelves, dividers, roof racks and lighting. With Bolt locks, the first time the vehicle’s ignition key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to only that key. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position. From then on, only the driver’s ignition key is needed to unlock not only the vehicle, but truck cap doors, toolboxes, trailer hitch locks and any other equipment professionals use on a daily basis.
