November 14, 2017 — Standard Products has awarded Mattias Peters, a student at Ryerson University in Toronto, a $3,500 scholarship, as part of the EFC scholarship program.

Standard says it supports future members of the industry by awarding this scholarship on an annual basis to a Canadian university that has demonstrated academic excellence or a college student who has completed two years of study in the field of business administration and commerce, and has maintained a minimum cumulative average of 80%.

“I am extremely appreciative to have been chosen to receive the Standard Recognition of Excellence Scholarship. This scholarship will help enable me to pursue a career in the field of electronics and technology innovation,” said Mattias Peters.

“Furthermore, I am grateful to be recognized by Electro-Federation Canada and feel a proud sense of motivation to strive towards achieving my goals while giving back to the community,” Peters added.
