The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published ICS 3.1 “Guide for the Application, Handling, Storage, Installation, and Maintenance of Medium-Voltage AC Contactors, Controllers and Control Centres”.

Last revised in 1997, this publication provides information regarding
the application, handling, storage, installation, and maintenance of AC
general-purpose, medium-voltage contactors and Class E controllers. The
guide has been updated to reflect changes in technology.
