The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) will be holding its annual PowerTest Electrical Maintenance and Safety Conference, February 15-18, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California. Formerly held in mid-March, this is PowerTest’s first February conference.

In addition to its traditional focus on safety, equipment, and
reliability, PowerTest will also explore the latest NERC/FERC
implications, the future of electrical inspections and renewable energy
and the power industry’s role in advancing the cause. Other featured
discussion topics include protective relays, circuit breakers, infrared
technology, cables, and transformers.

PowerTest will also feature a variety of technical activities,
including paper tracks, interactive panel sessions and symposium, a new
product forum, exhibition, networking opportunities, and postconference
seminars. Social activities for attendee guests will also be provided
during the conference.

Pre-conference events kick off Sunday, February 14, with the Megger
2010 Best Practices Substation Seminar followed by a mystery dinner
cruise aboard the Grand Romance. Registration is required to attend all
