January 30, 2015 – Power management company Eaton announced a new moulded case circuit breaker series earlier this month, called the 310+ series.

“The breakers are engineered for maintenance safety, featuring integrated arc flash protection and Eaton Electronic 310+ trip units, which is designed to clear faults faster than microprocessor-initiated devices,” said the company.

The 310+ MCCBs also provide trailing cable-specific settings and configurations to cover trailing cable sizes, Eaton added.

Other features include adjustable curve shaping, diagnostics, system monitoring and communications, and a larger dial with a hard stop that provides easier access without the risk of 360° rotation, said the company.

The circuit breaker trip units are interchangeable between 600 V and 1000 V frames.
