June 10, 2016 – RCMP say four people have been arrested in connection with a theft of copper wires from a mill in southeast New Brunswick.
Around 6:45 am on June 6, members of the Southeast District RCMP were called to a mill in West Branch, after employees discovered four people allegedly trying to steal copper wire.
Three Moncton men, ranging in age from 28 to 52 years-old, and a 41 year-old woman from the Elsipogtog area, were arrested. They were all released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court at a later date. Police say they are expected to face charges.
