February 5, 2013 – The Ontario Waterpower Association (OWA) says registration is now open for the 13th annual “Power of Water” Canada Conference and Tradeshow, being held October 20-22 at the White Oaks Conference Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. OWA is also pleased to report it has entered into a multi-year agreement with White Oaks to allow for additional exhibit space to accommodate growth.

“We are very excited to be returning to White Oaks Conference Resort again this year and to be working with their exceptional staff to expand the tradeshow element of our event,” said Janelle Bates, OWA marketing and event coordinator.

OWA says its annual conference is the largest waterpower-focused event in the country. It is expected to attract over 500 delegates from across North America. OWA adds it has identified more than 3000MW of untapped waterpower potential that, when developed, could help moderate electricity prices for decades to come.

The OWA was founded in 2001 to represent the collective interests of the province’s “original green energy sector: waterpower”.
