The IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) has extended its Call for Papers deadline to October 5 for the 2011 Wireless Communications & Networking Conference (WCNC) being held in March in Cancun, Mexico.

Dedicated to research in wireless communications and networking
technologies , the annual event is expected to include the presentation
of more than 500 technical papers, tutorials and business panels. Last
year’s conference—held in Sydney, Australia—was attended by nearly 700
international industry professionals and academics representing
companies, governmental agencies, and universities from around the
world.

All professionals interested in presenting at IEEE WCNC 2011 are urged
to visit the conference website for conference information and
submission guidelines. Original, unpublished papers will be considered
in areas related to the latest advance in digital cellular, PCS, mobile,
broadband and terrestrial wireless technologies ranging from
vehicle-to-vehicle, multimedia and cooperative communications to video
streaming, networking, beamforming and channel modelling.
