November 28, 2023 – City Electric Supply (Canada and United States) has integrated Patabid’s electrical estimating software into its e-commerce platform.

Patabid says this will “improve the productivity and profitability of electrical projects, increase access to electrical estimating software and overall, improve the working conditions of electrical contractors”.

“Improving the accuracy of electrical bidding while increasing the convenience of material ordering is an industry win-win for everyone involved,” said Melvin Newman, PataBid president & CTO.

This integration eliminates that need for electrical contractors to manually enter material prices when bidding work. Through PataBid’s Quantify, they can now:

• Import up-to-the-minute pricing into their estimates.
• Place their CES orders directly through Quantify.
• Use a “quick buy” option in Quantify to purchase any CES materials, even those not used in an estimate.
