Power Distribution Inc. (PDI), a manufacturer of distribution equipment for the data centre market, has added a 400A Powerwave bus system for data centres, industrial and commercial power applications. (Earlier this year, PDI released 160A, 225A and 250A bus.) The Powerwave bus system is a flexible overhead power distribution system that aims to minimize the costs and coordination for computer server adds and changes in a data centre or commercial environment. All systems are available with PDI’s branch circuit monitoring system (BCMS) that gathers and reports loads at the branch circuit level for all tap off boxes to the building management system via Modbus RTU.
