Schneider Electric has donated equipment to West House—an energy-efficient home born out of a vision from Simon Fraser University (SFU), Western Economic Diversification (WED) and the City of Vancouver.
The contribution of a Xantrex grid-tie inverter and PowerLogic branch
circuit power monitor ensure energy efficiency and lower utility bills,
and support the sustainability concept of this project.
“We are excited to help the West House because it aligns with the
company’s strategy of providing solutions for energy efficiency, while
making energy safe, reliable, productive and green, from plant to plug,”
said Jeff Everett, segment marketing manager at Schneider. “This
project showcases this commitment in action for the world to see.”
