October 20, 2011 – Serge Leblanc, former vice-president of marketing for Lumen (a member of the Sonepar Canada family) has been appointed president of Lumen in Quebec to succeed François Anquetil.

A graduate in marketing, Leblanc has 20 years of experience in the electrical industry. He joined Lumen in 1997 after 10 years with Crouse-Hinds, then became VP sales & marketing in 2002.

Sonepar Canada oversees over 90 branches within six operating companies: CenturyVallen, Gescan, Lumen, Osso Electric, Texcan and Sesco.
