Siemens providing turbines for Cedar Point II Project

October 29, 2014 – Siemens Canada Ltd. is providing delivery and installation of 46 SWT-2.3-113 direct-drive wind turbines to the Cedar Point II Project in Sarnia, Ont. The 100MW agreement also includes a two-year service and maintenance agreement.

All 138 55-m blades will be manufactured at the Siemens wind turbine blade facility in Tillsonburg, Ont., and all steel towers will be manufactured in the province.
