Toromont CAT positions for J.P. Granger, Sharanjit Singh & Nancy Ambtman

December 11, 2012 – Glenn Keenan, VP of Power Systems & Energy for Toromont CAT, announced several changes in the organization. Toromont’s Power Systems group’s products range from 40kW to multi-megawatt, and serve an array of applications and customers. Caterpillar and Toromont offer a range of diesel and gas gensets, transfer switches, switchgear, flywheel and battery UPSs.

Jean-Philippe (J.P.) Granger is assuming the industry manager role for the Electric Power business. He and his team will serve the standby power systems and power quality segments, leveraging Caterpillar products as the foundation.

Sharanjit Singh is assuming the product support manager role, and will provide leadership and support to “close to 100 technicians and eight dedicated regional centres”. This team services and supports gensets, automatic transfer switches, switchgear and UPS products.

Finally, Nancy Ambtman is assuming the rental manager role, where she will leverage her years of experience with the dealership. Toromont Cat’s Power Systems rental fleet offers generators from 60kW to 2MW, and Nancy is expected to “build on [the company’s] successes in the construction, mining, mission-critical and special events segments”.
