Westcon Group, Inc. promoted Lynn Smurthwaite-Murphy to senior vice president for U.S. and Canada where she will report directly to the president and CEO, Dean Douglas.

With 23 years of experience, Smurthwaite-Murphy spent three years
managing Westcon’s convergence business in the U.S. and prior to that
was the vice president/general manager of Westcon Canada Systems Inc.

Taking
her previous role of vice president for Westcon Canada is Dan Forbes,
the former head of Westcon Canada’s Cisco business. Forbes has spent 14
years in the industry and received his degree from the University of
Windsor.
