October 1, 2015 – The Pathstone Children’s Mental Health Centre in St. Catharines, Ont. will have $50,000 more in donations over a five-year span thanks to Horizon Utilities.
The new mental health treatment facility will provide professional intervention to children and their families in Niagara region living with mental health issues.
Pathstone set out to raise a minimum of $5 million from Niagara-area donors for the construction of the new centre. The foundation recently announced the total amount raised was $5,218,249 and hosted a special superhero-themed event to thank everyone who contributed.
“Investing in Pathstone’s Mental Health treatment facility is a key pillar of Horizon Utilities’ commitment to the communities we serve,” said Max Cananzi, president and CEO of Horizon Utilities. “We’re immensely proud to contribute to this project that will offer a resource to the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community.”
