February 5, 2024 – ABB’s Terra AC Wallbox electric vehicle charger product family is now available through select ABB Installation Product electrical distribution partners across Canada.

“With a user-friendly interface and a broad range of connectivity options—including Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G—these solutions provide seamless and convenient charging for EV owners,” said John Ieraci, ABB E-mobility Canada.

The Wallbox is a Level 2 EV charger available in 32A, 40A, and 80A models. The units are engineered to save both space and time, promising a 30-minute installation.

Along with integrated smart features to optimize charging efficiency, the Wallbox is able to perform remote software updates, which helps ensure it stays current with the latest in EV technology. The integration of ground-fault and trip protection bolsters safety for EV owners.
