February 5, 2024 – Hubbell Canada’s 50A generator hookup kit (#58505KIT) aims to mitigate the effects of extreme weather events that cause power shortages and better serves homes that require higher-wattage generators.

This kit groups various components that are individually CSA or cULus certified for the Canadian market: from Hubbell’s 50A 125/250V 3-pole 4-wire grounding inlet and its watertight adapter to Bell’s deep weatherproof box and extension ring.

The kit also includes gaskets, screws, closure plugs, and mounting lugs. Five (5) hubs allow electricians to run the cable from under, over, or behind the outlet box, while detachable parts provide flexibility for future maintenance. The inlet, outlet box, and box extension are NEMA 3R-rated for outdoor or indoor use.
