Acuity Brands expands LED product portfolio with Tersen Ratio 1.5 luminaire

June 17, 2011 – New to Acuity’s Walk application family of products, which include luminaires for pedestrian, site, building and bollard lighting, are the Tersen Ratio 1.5 luminaire with a clamshell pole base and the American Electric Lighting AVPLluminaire. According to Acuity, each is optimally designed for unique walkway environments, while the Tersen Ratio 1.5 with a clamshell pole base is a LED luminaire is particularly designed for easy installation with existing poles, which allows for reduced up-front cost. The American Electric Lighting AVPL is ideal for use in municipal walkway and residential street applications, meeting the requirements of smart-looking, energy-efficient luminaires with an electrical terminal block and ease-of-maintenance tool-less entry, it adds.
