July 28, 2021 – Catalyst Sales & Marketing recently welcomed two new employees to their team: Andrew Smardon and Jill Foley.

As Catalyst’s new renewable energy specialist, Smardon will be responsible for designing residential and commercial solar systems, managing projects from conception through to the delivery cycles. He will also serve as the resident expert on electric vehicle charging and infrastructure.

“Andrew’s background in project management, problem-solving skills and passion for sustainable solutions will help Catalyst continue to grow as a leader in solar and renewable energy solutions in our market,” says Mark MacDonald, principal.

Foley joins the team as director of marketing, where she is responsible for all aspects of Catalyst’s marketing and communication strategy, which includes working with manufacturers to ensure Catalyst’s efforts align with their goals, and ensuring distributors and showroom partners are abreast of the latest products and promotions.

“Jill’s extensive experience and knowledge of strategic digital marketing will elevate Catalyst’s position in our market,” added MacDonald.

Catalyst is an electrical manufacturers’ representative based in Halifax.
