February 17, 2015 – The Energeni lighting control system from Beacon Products is a new platform to control dimming.

The Energeni, equipped with 32 pre-programmed functional settings, can be set to dim at about the same time every evening for systems using a photocontrol or astronomical time clock, an option well suited for areas where dimming is required by law, noted Beacon.

The product has five DIP switches to help satisfy a number of customer needs, such as if the user wants to dim to 40% brightness at midnight. The Energeni counts the hours of operation to determine the midnight time as its setting point.

The second option is dimming based on hours of operation. For example, the user programs the system to dim after five hours of operation.

The delay and dimming level options can be configured and re-configured without the need for special cables or computers.
