January 20, 2016 – Disposable enclosure locks have now been added to Burndy’s portfolio of products and provide “quick locking and serve as an alternate economical solution to padlocks”, the company says.
Installed with a shear head screw to provide tamper proof security, these locks are used in areas where entry is not required on a regular basis, Burndy says, such as on electric meters, electrical cabinets and to secure truck/trailer doors and shipping containers. They are available in four different designs, all corrosion-free, according to Burndy, and adjustable to fit any hasp.
