March 24, 2014 – Areva Inc. has signed an exclusive agreement with Novinium to offer cable rejuvenation technology to the nuclear industry, promising a “safe, innovative and cost-effective solution” to extend the life of underground cable infrastructure.

Areva will offer Novinium’s Ultrinium fluid using its patented sustained pressure rejuvenation (SPR) injection method for nuclear power plant applications. Novinium boasts its technology restores the full dielectric strength of a cable to a like-new condition, extending the life and reliability of these cables for 40 more years.
