Call for Nominations for EFC’s annual Industry Awards program

February 12, 2024 – Electro-Federation Canada has issued a Call for Nominations for its Industry Awards program, which recognizes leaders from its member community.

“Whether they demonstrate strong leadership or a commitment to contributing to the health of the industry, it is important to recognize these individuals to breed success,” says the association. “Nominating an individual for their commitment and successful accomplishments builds our community to grow, lead and compete in an ever-changing world.”

Nominations from EFC members are now open for the following:

CEMRA Person of the Year

Recognizes individuals who have made a difference to the Canadian Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association and the rep business in Canada by demonstrating leadership, commitment, and outstanding support.

Industry Recognition Award

Presented to an individual who has retired or is approaching retirement age, and has demonstrated a lifetime of strong leadership in the Canadian electrical industry in regional or national activities. The recipient must be someone who has worked at an EFC member organization or has been a strong industry supporter.

Trailblazer Award

Recognizes a leader who has been a recent catalyst for change by bringing new ideas, processes, or best practices to the forefront. Awarded to someone who works at an EFC member organization.

The deadline to nominate is March 15, 2024.

Recipients will be recognized at this year’s Industry Conference in Banff, Alta., during the awards gala.
