Celestica’s Toronto lab receives TUV solar module testing certification

September 5, 2013 – Celestica Inc. reports TUV Rheinland has audited and approved its solar lab in Toronto, Ont., to provide testing required for certifying solar modules.

“We are pleased to receive approval from TUV Rheinland PTL on our solar lab in Toronto, helping our customers differentiate and improve the efficiency of their modules in the highly competitive market,” said John Nastasi, solar general manager for Celestica.

This lab is capable of carrying out tests for a variety of photovoltaic (PV) standards, including UL-1703/ULC-1703 and IEC-61215 /IEC-61730. It operates independently within the Total Quality Management System at Celestica, which aims to ensure the integrity of test procedures and results
