December 16, 2013 – Acuity Brands has introduced the RV series retrofit commercial LED downlight from Lithonia Lighting, featuring a design that boasts five or less minutes to install into existing mounting pans.

According to the company, the downlight’s mounting hardware simultaneously retains and centres the fixture into existing mounting pans, allowing replacement of 8-in apertures. It also features a one-piece housing and one-piece reflector that is optimal for replacing traditional source commercial downlights during lighting renovations and upgrades, it adds. The Energy-Star-listed downlights are compatible with most dimmers and are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K colour temperatures.
