Organizers describe Forward Summit as a national gathering of Indigenous and non-Indigenous thought leaders who are committed to Indigenous prosperity; where economic reconciliation is the goal.

The event is being conducted both online and in-person, May 25-26, 2022, at the Grey Eagle Event Centre.

Forward Summit’s purpose

Recommendation #92 of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action calls on Canada’s corporate sector to support the economic growth of Indigenous communities and peoples.

As such, Forward Summit aims to facilitate an environment where Indigenous communities, businesses and leaders can gather to build relationships, learn, and share experiences, with the aim of building wealth and Indigenous prosperity.
