The 2024 Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) will be held May 30-31, 2024, at ExpoCité in Quebec City.

SCNC is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country, says Skills Canada. Each year, more than 500 of Canada’s best come to compete in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions.

Also at SCNC, thousands of students visit the competition floor to discover careers that are available in the skilled trades and technologies through over 50 interactive Try-A-Trade and Technology activities, and by engaging with industry professionals.

This annual national competition is hosted by Skills/Compétences Canada, whose mission is “to advance the engagement of youth and their communities in skilled trade and technology careers using a pan-Canadian approach”.
