March 15, 2013 – Extron Electronics has added the DMS 2000 and DMS 3200 frames and DMS fiber matrix boards to the DMS series of modular DVI matrix switchers. According to Extron, the DMS series combine the simplicity and reliability of a fixed I/O matrix switcher with the convenience and flexibility of a modular solution. The DMS 2000 is available in I/O configurations of 4×4 up to 20×20 in a 3U enclosure, and the DMS 3200 is available in I/O configurations of 4×4 up to 32×32 in a 5U enclosure. Available in 4×4 I/O, 4-input, and 4-output configurations, the fiber optic boards can be mixed-and-matched with available DMS DVI matrix boards.
