May 8, 2024 – Gurvinder Chopra has joined QPS Evaluation Services Inc. as general manager.

Chopra possesses over 30 years of experience across multiple industries, says QPS, including as a marine engineer on commercial ships for over 10 years. His roles have ranged from regional operations manager at CSA Group to vice-president, Standards & Government Relations, at Electro-Federation Canada.

With the shift of manufacturing back to the U.S., Chopra’s mission is to expedite certifications at QPS, allowing companies to access markets faster, says the company, adding that his leadership “focuses on leveraging the trend toward electrification and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry”.

Headquartered in Toronto, QPS is an accredited independent third-party testing, certification and field evaluation services organization.
