Franklin Empire presents Expo – Electrical Products May 2012

April 9, 2012 – Thanks to Franklin Empire for letting us know about its Expo – Electrical Supplies, happening May 2, 2012, at the Centre des congrès Tremblant, 161 Curé-Deslauriers, Mont-Tremblant.

The event runs from 10 am to 6 pm, with a buffet lunch between noon and 2 pm. The Expo is particularly geared toward hotels, restaurants, buildings, retail, ski stations and contractors, and will be of interest to those involved in electrical supplies and services for construction, renovation, maintenance and energy efficiency. The expo will feature seminars, technical demonstrations, and presentations of innovative projects, and showcase industry trends… and the odd new product roll-out.

Seminars include:

Lighting retrofit
Lighting retrofits can provide some of the simplest, most direct ways to reduce energy consumption. In addition, due to energy legislation, a variety of incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and HID products will be made obsolete over the next few years. Participants will learn about the latest energy-saving retrofit options, including LED solutions.

Enercible – Building program and its financial support
The Buildings Program for Hydro-Quebec aims to stimulate the realization of energy efficiency projects by granting financial support for the implementation of measures for saving electrical energy. The work must be completed in commercial and institutional buildings located in Quebec. The conference will let you know how this program relates to commercial buildings, financial support available. and the accession processes. The seminar will be accompanied by examples of inspiring projects.
