You’re invited to check out the FREE electrical tradeshow and “Event Village” being held at Horseshoe Resort (Barrie, Ont.) September 24 and 25, where there will be an array of interactive display trailers, Charity Casino, new cars and trucks, ATVs and snowmobiles, BBQ and refreshments, and door prizes!

All this excitement is part of the IAEI Canadian & Ontario Sections’
annual convention. This year, there will be 26 exhibitors displaying
new products and services related to the electrical industry. Friday
Sept 24, the tradeshow only opens from 3 pm to 6 pm. Refreshments are
provided, and there are door prizes to be won. And, new this year (on
Saturday Sept 25), along with the tradeshow, is the all-new “Event
Village”, which runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm. (BBQ, refreshments and
contractor door prizes supplied by Hudco Electric Supply, OSSO Electric
Supply/Century Vallen and Nedco Electric Supply.)

Some Event Village exhibitors include: Barrie Ford; Napoleon
Fireplace/Grills; Yamaha Riding Adventures; Northwinds; Lowes Home
improvement; Wasaga Beach Cruisers (classic car collection, weather
permitting), and Rock 95.

For convention delegates wondering what to do with the kids, wonder no
more! Since they are too young to attend the tradeshow, Charity Casino
and other adult-only activities, IAEI has arranged some weekend
festivities for them. A Horseshoe Resort program called KidsKorral is
available for the weekend. Resort staff will provide Saturday daytime
child care for children ages 4-14 with a lot of fun, age appropriate
activities!
