Hilti smoke sleeve controls noise (CS-SL SA)

March 7, 2016 – Hilti says its new smoke and acoustic sleeve CS-SL SA manages cable penetrations in non fire-rated floors and walls. This device will simplify penetrations in smoke and sound partitions, the company explains, by utilizing a single point of entry for cable moves, adds and changes.

It features “superior” in-use sound and air-leakage rating to help mitigate smoke and sound, Hilti adds, and is available in a 2-in. diameter size as well as a 4-in. diameter version, compatible with the Hilti gangplate solution.
