Hydrostor strengthens leadership team with Phebus, Duckett, Skinner

September 13, 2023 – Hydrostor—a developer and operator of energy storage solutions—has appointed Chris Phebus, Tom Duckett, and Sarah Skinner to lead its technology, development, and human resources teams, respectively.

Based in Texas, Chris Phebus has over two decades of engineering and technology expertise, and joins Hydrostor as the new chief technology officer. Previous experience includes time with General Electric, Baker Hughes, and Kelly Slater Wave Company.

With a background in developing, constructing, and operating complex projects across Canada, the United States and Germany, Tom Duckett joins the company as the new chief development officer. As the former president, Development, with Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas, he led over 250 projects exceeding 25 GW across various technologies.

Having spent much of her career in the engineering and architecture consulting industries, Sarah Skinner joins Hydrostor as the new chief human resources officer, based in Toronto.
