July 8, 2014 – Sumitomo Electric Lightwave—a player in optical fiber and connectivity solutions—announced Kevin Mistele joined the company as vice-president of marketing, a newly created position within the company.

Mistele will oversee product management, marketing and product development functions. He will also manage the company’s growth and market penetration in the data centre and enterprise markets.

He possesses nearly 25 years of experience in the enterprise and data centre markets in areas such as business strategy, product management, technology road mapping, strategic marketing, operations and logistics, says Sumitomo.
