Kim Lighting launches a series of HID to LED Upgrade Kits

August 9, 2010 | By

Kim Lighting – a manufacturer of architectural outdoor lighting – announced the launch of its series of HID to LED Upgrade Kits. These kits, according to Kim, are “for its most popular product lines to reduce energy consumption and allow for dimming and controls, asset management or compatibility with renewable energy systems.” Their other housings are solid die-cast, low copper alloy (<0.6%) aluminum and all hardware is made of stainless steel. Kim also uses powder coat paint for a quality finish. Their LED Upgrade Kit preserves and maintains the original construction attributes while avoiding landfill dumping. Kim describes them as “ideal solutions for upgrade projects seeking utility rebates and tax incentives.” The LED kits are available for Archetype, Structural, Wall Director and WARP9 product lines.
