November 25, 2013 – Klein Tools has introduced its open jaw cable cutter (Cat. No. 63711), a ratcheting cable cutter with front loading jaws that promise to easily wrap around cable in confined spaces, while plastic covered handles with hand guards boast comfort and a firm grip.

The tool features a high-leverage ratchet mechanism for single-handed cutting of 600 MCM copper and 750 MCM aluminum, as well as cutting 1 1/8-in. communication cable. However, users are advised the open jaw cable cutter is not designed for cutting steel or ACSR.
