October 4, 2012 – Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com has launched the LEDP5W-60-1227 LED High Intensity mining light, operating up to 50,000 hours with 24V compatibility. The 30,000 lumen output LED has a current draw of 300W at 2.5A from a 120 VAC power source. The light claims to be unaffected by environmental or operational conditions that are typical of industrial applications, especially within mining facilities where water sprays are used for dust suppression.
