Legrand adds SteriGuard devices to IEC 309 line

September 9, 2016 – Legrand is showing off a new anti-bacterial line of plugs, connectors and cord in its IEC 309 industrial product family. SteriGuard plugs and connectors are designed to help avoid the outbreak of any dangerous bacteria, the company says, especially in the food and beverage industry.

 
The products are impact-, heat- and weather-resistant, Legrand claims, as well as rated for use with NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P enclosures. The antimicrobial additives are embedded in the product, it adds.
