Legrand has introduced its new electric vehicle chargers for residential and light commercial applications with charging stations, which it claims are weatherproof rated and compatible with all plug-in electric vehicles. According to Legrand, choices include the Level 1 15A/120V charger, a portable charger that plugs into a standard 15A or 20A receptacle and includes built-in ground fault protection, and the Level 2 20A/240V charger, which is hard-wired to a 20A circuit and can charge vehicles in approximately three to six hours.
