OEL’s board of directors and Contractor Committee are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year at the league’s annual Electrical Industry Conference, being held at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, May 4-7. And EBMag will be there!

If you haven’t already registered, download the Registration form below. Meantime, if you’re manufacturer, distributors or service company and wish to reserve a tabletop for the Product Expo/Lunch ’n Learn (and wish to consider a sponsorship opportunities), there’s a form for that below, too. With a theme of renewable energy this year, be sure to think Green. Exhibitors and Sponsors are invited to provide a flyer for insertion in the “Buy from a Member: It’s Worth It” section of the delegate binder.

Plan to attend the Awards Dinner on Thursday evening where OEL will honour the memory of Richard Cullis, who passed away last year. If you would like to take a couple minutes at the podium to recognize Richard, please let OEL know. You’re also welcome to submit a written comment/anecdote/remembrance which will have read aloud on your behalf.

In recognition of Richard’s contributions, Dial One Wolfedale Electric have initiated The Richard Cullis Leadership Award of Distinction that recognizes an OEL member for their outstanding contribution to the league and the electrical industry. Don’t forget to submit your nomination (form below) by April 15th!

In addition to the conference sessions, we incorporate some fun as well, beginning on Wednesday with golf at the Springfield Golf & County Club. Remember to bring your Leathers ‘N Lace for Friday Night’s Dinner and Dance. And be sure to stay for Saturday for the Grand Prize Draw Extravaganza. The prize table is always full and all delegates and companions will go home with a gift from the table, plus one lucky person will walk away with a travel gift certificate to a location of their choosing.
