Lighting Science offers VividGro for agri-businesses and residential (VIDEO)

August 6, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

August 6, 2013 – Earlier this year at Lightfair 2013, Lighting Science Group (LSG) launched its VividGro LED Lighting system, which promises effective growth of fruit-bearing plants in a white light working atmosphere. VividGro delivers photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and has a rated life from 25,000 to 100,000 hours. It is available in multiple optical distributions in highbay, lowbay, linear and lamp platforms. VividGro retrofits easily into existing lighting applications, says LSG, adding it does not give off radiated heat, thereby allowing the light to be close to the plant canopy. “Agri-businesses and hobbyists need LED lighting for greenhouses that are both great for growing plants and provide a safe, white-light working environment,” said Jeremy Cage, CEO of Lighting Science.
