Milwaukee’s newest lithium battery technology, RedLithium, will be widely available this May 2011, says the company, adding these batteries instantly improve the performance of any Milwaukee M12 or M18 tool. RedLithium promises 40% more run-time, 20% more power and 50% more re-charge cycles, plus the ability to operate at -18ºC.

To support the RedLithium platform, Milwaukee is conducting the “Get More Done” contest and Cross Canada Tour. With the contest, enter a photo showing how you “Get More Done” with Milwaukee RedLithium. All eligible entries will receive a free RedLithium T-shirt (while quantities last). As for the tour, the Milwaukee team will be driving across Canada throughout May and June 2011, holding events at various locations to launch RedLithium (which we told you about back in September 2010).
