NEMA publishes ANSI C136.26-2010 for High-Intensity Discharge luminaires

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published ANSI C136.26-2010 American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment‚ a troubleshooting guide for High-Intensity Discharge (HID) luminaires. The standard was last revised in 2003, and offers troubleshooting guidance for “commonly encountered problems” of lamps that are on continuously, cycle on-and-off, do not start, or burn dimly.
