PRODUCT ALERT – UL warns of EMT with inadequate corrosion protection

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) announced that electrical metallic tubing (EMT) products manufactured by Guangdong Walsall Steel Pipe Industrial Co. Ltd. (and identified in the brief) may be inadequately protected against corrosion.

These products display a UL Listing Mark for Canada and the States;
however, products purchased at retailers and distributors were found not
to comply with Canadian or American safety standards, and are not
authorized to bear the UL Mark.
