Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of two new business development managers for the Buildings Business in Canada.

Montreal-based William Daoud will manage the Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Daoud has “extensive experience” in Controls and Automation and is a professional engineer in the Province of Quebec.

Matthew Ward will manage Western Canada. Based in Calgary, Schneider Electric describes Ward as bringing “a broad spectrum of experience in Security solutions including both access control and video management.”

Daoud and Ward will manage the growth of the Building Automation and Security portfolio of Schneider Electric for their respective regions. This includes partner development, cross business unit project integration, and consultant/ end-user coverage.
