Siemens donates to Centennial’s new off-grid EV charging station

November 5, 2015 – Siemens Canada recently donated a VersiCharge Level 2 (240vac) charging unit to Centennial College’s newly installed Off-Grid Electric Vehicle Charging Station.

The project employs renewable energy to power electric vehicles, and will provide opportunities for demonstration, teaching and research.

“Thank you to Siemens for your support. This has helped our students contribute to a successful and functional project this summer,” said Slava Rolinsky, professor with Centennial’s School of Engineering Technology & Applied Sciences (SETAS).
