Stanley Black & Decker Inc has entered into a three-year endorsement with Jim Caruk, master contractor and HGTV host best known for his series, Real Renos.

The agreement between Stanley Black & Decker and Caruk involves category exclusive endorsement of Dewalt power tools and accessories and Stanley hand tools branded Stanley, Stanley FatMax, FatMax Xtreme, and Stanley Bostitch.

“It’s great to be associated with those two famous names–Stanley and Dewalt. I look forward to working with the company, and with its premium quality hand and power tools,” said Caruk. “In this business, it’s important that you use first-rate materials and durable, high-performance tools that allow you to complete the job efficiently and expertly. There’s nowhere to hide in this business. Your finished projects tell everyone how well you did.”

In addition to integrated media campaigns, editorial, and promotions for the brands, Caruk will take part in trade and customer-related events. 

Caruk is also the founder of the Toronto-based Build it Yourself Learning Centers which aims to provide homeowners with an “interactive, practical learning forum.” In 2009, he founded Renos for Heroes, a non-profit foundation that does home modifications for wounded Canadian military personnel.
