January 6, 2016 – The new 48-in. carbon fiber level—model DWHT43134—from Dewalt takes advantage of carbon fiber technology to provide levels that are “light-weight, high-strength, and can absorb the beating that levels take on the jobsite”, Dewalt says.

The level is 35% lighter compared to the Dewalt’s 48-in. aluminum box beam, the company claims, thanks to carbon fiber pultrusion. It features a box beam construction and water and weather resistance. It sells for about $119 at Home Depot and independent retailers across Canada.
